Protected Disclosure Procedures

The National Gallery of Victoria is committed to the aims and objectives of the Protected Disclosure Act 2012 (the Act). In particular, the NGV does not tolerate improper conduct by its staff or the taking of reprisals against those who come forward to disclose such conduct.

The NGV is not a public body to which disclosures may be made. Disclosures of improper conduct or detrimental action relating to the NGV should generally be made to the Independent Broad-based Anti-corruption Commission (IBAC). Further information about making disclosures to the IBAC can be found at

The NGV has procedures for protecting people who make protected disclosures from detrimental action by the NGV or its staff, which  are available from this webpage.
