NGV St Kilda Road Opening Party on December 3, 2003

This event will be a celebration of the long awaited return of the NGV's acclaimed international art collection. There will be live perfomances and fantastic food and drinks all night.

Tickets are $66 and NGV Artbeat members are able to buy a total of four tickets each. Numbers are limited so please book early to avoid missing out.

Clemenger Contemporary Art Award

In 1991 an extraordinary gift from Joan and Peter Clemenger enabled the NGV to establish the Clemenger Contemporary Art Award, a triennial exhibition and award that celebrates the ongoing achievement of some of Australia's most distinguished contemporary artists.
The 2003 Clemenger Contemporary Art Award draws together a group of artists whose work is conceptually and stylistically diverse, yet unified in its engagement with some of the prevailing cultural and social issues of contemporary life.
