The story of the famous friendship between two of Australia's most talented artists Norman Lindsay and Will Dyson.

Set in bohemian, turn-of-the-century Melbourne, The Ishmael Club offers a delicious insight into the lives of some of Australia’s most celebrated artists - Will Dyson, Norman Lindsay and his sister Ruby Lind.

The Ishmael Club flourished at Fasoli’s Café in the bohemian heyday of the early 1900s, with habituées including artists, poets, actors, journalists, musicians, emigrés and politicians.
