Discover the brilliance of the French Impressionists with an introductory talk on key artists represented in the exhibition The Impressionists: Masterpieces from the Musée d’Orsay.
Date: Every Saturday and Sunday until 26 September at 1pm

City of Light: Paris and Photography 1850s - 1930s

This exhibition offers a rare opportunity to view the contribution of French photographers to the medium, from the early pioneering days 1850s-1900s to the development of human interest in photography in the 1920s-1930s.

Until 22 August. Free admission.

NGV Contemporary

NGV Contemporary raises funds for the aquisition of contemporary art for the Collection of the National Gallery of Victoria. Dr Gerard Vaughan, Director NGV, Mr Michael Buxton, Chairman and the Committee of NGV Contemporary extend an exclusive invitation to NGV Members to the inaugural NGV Contemporary Dinner and Auction. This evening will feature an auction of works by ten of Australia's most acclaimed contemporary artists.
