This lecture looks at the two main strands of fashion on display in Flair - the exclusivity of small dressmaking establishments to mass-produced garments designed for boutiques and department stores.

To instill order into his chaotic world, Andy Warhol made a habit of clearing the contents of his desk into uniform cardboard boxes, which he referred to as Time Capsules. In doing so, his collections at once became art as well as archive.
