Tattooing in Japan dates back almost 2000 years. During the Edo period (1603-1868) Japanese tattoo art became a part of ukiyo, the floating world culture. Join contemporary artist and tattoo expert, eX de Medici as she discusses the relationship between Japanese prints and traditional tattoos.

Melbourne Opera

Melbourne Opera presents Don Giovanni

Don Giovanni is one of Mozart’s best-known and best-loved operas, a sparkling comedy-drama by the 18th century’s premier librettist Lorenzo da Ponte. The opera will be performed in English by a highly acclaimed cast, which includes Joanna Cole, Margaret Haggart, Roger Howell, Antoinette Halloran and Richard Curtin.
