Cameron produced work in the manner of Old Master paintings as a way of
authenticating photography as Art. Cameron gave several of her pictures
titles that refer to Italian Renaissance paintings and she often makes
connections between her photographs and paintings by Leonardo, Michelangelo,
Perugino and Raphael.
