The concave profile cups & their saucer are painted in naturalistic colours with birds in landscape settings, with groups of feathers. The pieces all have gilt dentil edges & the angular handles are edged with gold. The name of the bird in inscribed on each piece (teacup-Grosbeak, coffee cup-Goldfinch, saucer-Magpie)
