Physical description
The artist condenses two important Central Australian sites - Ayers Rock and the Olgas - important landmarks in tones of this landscape. The artist's use of red over a black ground produces smoky red effects of shadows in the red fields symbolic of Ayers Rock (above) and Tarrawarra (the Olgas, below).
