inscribed in fibre-tipped pen on mount l.c.l.: I learnt to tap dance for my 60th. birthday party. It was a wonderful (th. underlined) / celebration. The glorious thing about being 60 is that I’m not shy like I / used to be. I’ll speak out about anything, anywhere. / What I hate is that feeling that I’ve become invisible. At a bar, young / men and women will get served before me. / You certainly become a-sexual to men. once you’s stopped being seen / as available and sexual some people seem to think all your / faculties have gone. That’s very hard to deal with. / I work hard at keeping fit - I have to - I’ve gat a bad back. / I swim and walk, and do yoga and tap. I expect to be as fit as I / am now when I’m 70.
