Physical description
The white single bed quilt comprises two layers. The top layer of cotton sheeting is backed with a heavier cotton twill cloth. The two layers are joined by hand-quilting in a chevron pattern stitched with a coarse white cotton thread. Some of the quilt pattern markings in pencil are still visible. The edges of the quilt are bound with straight-grain strips of the white fabric used in the quilt top, and three sides of the quilt have a scalloped edge, leaving the top edge of the quilt straight.
