Inferno XXV, 49-78. The infamous Florentine thief Cianfa de' Donati, at this moment transformed into a six-footed serpent, attacks Agnello dei Brunelleschi and their bodies begin to fuse. Their fellow Florentine thieves, Puccio Sciancato and Buoso stand on the right in horror, while Dante and Virgil stand on the left.
