At art after dark the NGV comes alive with a variety of talks, live performances, music, and fine food and wine. The program offers music and performance inspired by the life and travels of Dalí, from early jazz to the wild and flamboyant theatre of Parisian bohemia.

Cost Entry to the NGV for art after dark is free.
Admission fees apply for Salvador Dalí: Liquid Desire and Introductory Talks (6pm).
Students receive $11 exhibition entry after 4pm.

Celebrate the last weekend of Salvador Dalí: Liquid Desire from dusk ‘til dawn as the NGV stays open all night. The NGV will be alive with a variety of talks, live performances, music, and fine food and wine. The program offers music and performance inspired by the life and travels of Dalí, from early jazz to the wild and flamboyant theatre of Parisian bohemia.

Imagine yourself into Dalí’s world of decadent parties in New York, and dance to the sounds of the 1920s, 30s and 40s with the fabulous Cairo Club Orchestra.

Those old world, swampy, cabaret-esque punk blues will wow you with a highly entertaining and outrageous live performance.
Rapskallion
Grab your waltz partner as the wild and flamboyant, rowdy and romantic Rapskallion invoke scenes reminiscent of 20s Parisian bohemia. Add a pinch of hip hop, vaudevillian sensibilities, a curly moustache, and a startling array of hats.
