NGV Schools Introduction

VCE Art
A specialised PDF is contained within the Religion module. It explains in detail how one of Dalí’s late works, The Ecumenical Council, 1960 can be interpreted through multiple interpretive frameworks and is followed by suggested questions and  research activities.

The Lenders' sections (The Salvador Dalí Museum, St Petersburg, Florida, Fundació Gala-Salvador Dalí, Figueres, Spain) of the resource contain information about the exhibition, Salvador Dalí: Liquid Desire relevant to the Unit 3 curriculum.

The resource provides important background material for students and teachers attending programs running during the exhibition, which embrace andconnect subjects across the curriculum including Art, History, English, Design, Media and Religion.
