Sidney Nolan: Desert and Drought is an important milestone in Esso and Mobil's long relationship with the National Gallery of Victoria. This relationship spans 27 years and dates back to 1977 when the Company became one of the NGV's first and longest standing corporate sponsors. This exhibition marks Esso and Mobil's tenth major art sponsorship and the sixth here at the National Gallery of Victoria.
