The touring exhibition Yikwani: Contemporary Tiwi Ceramics presents recent sculptural ceramics by artists from Bathurst and Melville Islands, NT. This unique and exciting exhibition includes 16 ceramic sculptures produced by prominent and emerging artists who are associated with the pottery studio at Tiwi Design Aboriginal Corporation on Bathurst Island. The sculptures are inspired by Tiwi spirituality and past and present Tiwi traditions. The exhibition also includes approximately 50 narrative style photographs showing aspects of everyday life on the Islands.
