My Dear Robbie,

I was very pleased with your kind letter & to hear that you had made such progress with your lessons. It was very kind of Aunty Vickey to give you the nice writing desk. I hope you will value it and in future be even more successful than you have been in the past. Try and give your mind to learning and grow a model man.

Don’t think for a moment that your education is finished because you have passed and got a certificate but give even greater attention to your studies and use what knowledge you may have to help you on the road to success.

I must buy something. What would you like when Aunty Rosa comes up. I will let her see your nice letter. Please give my love to Emmie I tell her Aunty was very much pleased with her kind letter, such a dear little letter for Emmie to write. Kiss dear Henry and little Jack for me. Your dear Grandpapa desires his kind love to you.

Accept the same dear Robbie from your affectionate Grandmama.
