Description
Virtually intact scarab on a low plinth. The head features are well cut, being feathered around the front. Lightly incised double lines divide the prothorax from the elytra and separate each wing case. The legs are clearly cut, quite high above the plinth, but all are un-notched. The tail is marked by a triangle of double lines. The underside is roughly incised with hieroglyphs, stating: 'Ramesses Mery/beloved of Amun'. Perforated lengthwise.
