Description
Fine marble head of Septimius Severus with heavily drilled curly hair and beard, contrasting with the smooth texture of the face. The eyes, slightly turned, gaze into the distance; the nose is broken. The lips are softly modelled. The underlying bone structure is skillfully modelled.
