Physical description
Half-length portrait of a man facing to the front, seated in an armchair with striped upholstery. His hair is parted on his left. He has long sideburns. He wears a black neck cloth, a frock coat with sharply-sloping shoulders and wide lapels, and a waistcoat, also with wide lapels.
