Description
A Macassan prau is depicted on a plain black ground in characteristic Groote Eylandt style. The prau has a cloth sail and rigging. Two oarsmen and a head man are shown on board, together with a turtle. The image is painted in flat blocks of colour without subsidiary patterning.
