Dress of black satin-back crepe, calf length with the skirt section consisting of four panels. The sleeves taper at the wrist and fasten with a zip. At the front the dress is gathered at the waist, forming soft pleats rising to the shoulders as well as falling away in the direction of the hem. It has shoulder pads and a plunging neckline and fastens at the front with a zip which is concealed beneath a softly pleated sash and half belt coming from either side of the waist to hook at the centre front.
