Physical description
The painting contains eight vibrant sections which flow into each other to form a kaleidoscopic vision of the artists' shared affinity with differnt tracts of land. Most of these artists view the land in lateral perspective and paint in flat blocks of colour, using little dotting, with the exception of Nipper Rogers whose central image contains concentric circles, dots turtles and a dramatic serpent but no figurative topographical elements.
