Description
Panel 13. The hatred and sorcery takes the form of sea witches that cause his shipwreck in a terrible storm. He clings to his sweep oar and holds safe his magic Bwalai stone until he is about to drown, at which time he can no longer hold the magic stone which falls to the bottom of the sea. The panel was beautifully carved in deep relief with traditional and transitional designs which tells a Massim mythological story.
