Physical description
Constructed from green cotton velvet, with slits at the front through which the hands protrude when worn draped over the head. Long narrow vestigial sleeves extending to the hem drape down the back when the mantle is worn. Sleeves, openings and hems trimmed with embroidery (known generally as dziyak) and tassles. Lined with colourful checked and ikat silks.
