Describe your sound in 5 words or less?

Dreamy synthy pop.

If your music was an artwork what would it look like?

A chaotic beautiful mess.

Who’s your favourite artist/artwork?

It is always changing for me but I am a sucker for beautiful florals. I recently found this painting, Nattlig växt III [Nocturnal plant III] by  Ola Billgren that I thought was stunning. I also love the work of photographer Guy Bourdin. I find his pictures to be quite interesting and provocative.

What’s your favourite gig you have played to date?

Probably Falls Festival in Lorne over the new year, that was pretty rad. I also played Coachella with Flight Facilities this year which was a massive highlight.

What inspires/influences your music the most?

At the moment I am right in the heart of the creative process. I have been touring a lot this year and now I am slowing down a bit to write and release new music. So I’ve been searching for inspiration a lot. I guess it comes from all different places. While I’m away I don’t tend to make music too much but write down phrases I think of or words that inspire me I also make folders of pictures, art, songs and articles that I like much like a mood board. I also obviously draw inspiration from my life and what’s going through my head, sometimes it’s comes from my subconscious.

What part of making music excites you the most?

I love performing. I like taking my music to new places.

What can a punter expect from your live show?

A fun time.

Tell us about the last song you wrote?

I’ve been writing lot’s of ideas, most of them are a in progress so they will change a lot before they are done but they all have a similar feel to them and showcase my voice. I always want to write strong pop songs that showcase me.
