Introduction

The major retrospective John Brack offers an outstanding opportunity for students as it is the first exhibition in more than twenty years that surveys John Brack’s complete oeuvre. It incorporates paintings and works on paper from all of his main series. This exhibition has particular relevance to art, history, literacy and drama curricula.

It includes questions and activities throughout each topic which can be adapted for younger studentsand contains information on the work of John Brack along with the artist's own statements and commentaries to help support and model student responses.
