Get thinking! The annual primary school Philosothon, presented by the NGV and the Victorian Association for Philosophy in schools (VAPS) uses works of art to provoke philosophical conversation.
Through respectful, cooperative and collective inquiry, students engage in critical and creative thinking, exchange information, connect thoughts and apply new ideas. The Philosothon provides a forum for primary schools to meet, and to develop and practice intellectual and social skills that enable philosophical thinking.
This year’s focus topics are: ‘The Future –what is possible’ and ‘Sustainability’.
Cost: $300 for up to 10 students
