Several generations of my family were brought up in the Grampians region of Victoria. I have always been intrigued about the area’s history and antiques. The untold stories behind each of these artefacts has kept me amused for hours. I wanted to capture them in their natural environment and emphasise the corrosion caused by age. I used a DSLR camera and tripod to create the panorama and studio lighting to take the still-life images. I used layering and many other techniques in Photoshop to create the surreal composition.
