This is the story of a girl who befriends the Grim Reaper. It is philosophical rather than plot-based, exploring the characters and how they react to their experiences. It muses upon the nature and meaning of life and death, identity and self-knowledge, reality and the physical world. The drawings and flashes of yellow in the binding and endpapers are a reminder that it is not a sad story, despite the solemn nature of some of the themes. This is only the beginning of what I hope will become a much longer story.
