My inspiration came from my inner turmoil as I left my home country, the Philippines. During the ten days leading up to my flight, I felt as if time had started to speed up, and days felt like hours. My frustration with time ignited the intrigue I had with its speed. I believe that we all share a common confusion regarding the speed and unsettling nature of time. How come it can play by its own rules, forcing us to simply follow? My growing curiosity about our coexistence and interaction flowed into my work.
