Sacré Cœur, Glen Iris
We are all influenced and shaped by others and the world around us. My brother has helped shape my sense of self and ultimately who I am and who I want to be. The title of this piece refers to a song that we both love. In wearing his clothes I portrayed the progression and growth into myself. I really like the act of putting on clothes and how we can try and be something we are not. There is something childish in it, like putting on your mother’s or father’s clothes when you are young.
