Drug use has become glorified within certain domains of society and the media. Through my photographs I have showcased a more diegetic interpretation of the truth. I experimented by camouflaging subjects within different landscapes. I took multiple photos of cityscapes on a tripod and then edited them to create a 360 degree panorama and manipulate and enhance the original images. I wanted to create a narrative that highlighted the detrimental effects of drug abuse and provoke an emotional response. The wraparound format creates an intimate and more realistic engagement with the theme.
