Following the mind map and exploration proposal, Mietta’s folio includes several pages focusing on the artists who are important sources of inspiration.  Several pages are then devoted to general inspiration.  This page highlights how mathematics and architecture have informed Mietta’s thinking and ideas.  For example, ‘the collection of what looks to be dismantled rat-traps is set out in a shape that resembles a floor plan of a house.  I am inspired by this photograph as it reminds me of architecture but it is communicated through a more abstract form’.
