This artwork was created as I looked through all the scans of my sketches for final number 4, I saw a range of unfinished ideas and characters that I thought had reasonable aesthetic qualities and that could be enhanced by refining theses figures. This final is a combination of potential solutions number 4 and 5. It encompasses the digital aspect from the photo collages, but uses the subject matter from potential number 5. The three developed illustrations represent the dark and threatening nature of the creatures that populate my subconscious but also show how they are nothing to be scared of, as despite their appearance there is nothing dangerous about them.

Advice to new students
Balancing all your subjects becomes difficult, if creating is your passion, as it is mine. If self control is not exercised, it can be difficult to stop drawing and write an English essay or stop printing and go to bed early before a business management SAC. It’s important to balance everything, if you don’t then you might find yourself slipping behind at the expense of one subject.
