 Presented by Festival Melbourne2006 and the 2006 Commonwealth Games, 2006 Contemporary Commonwealth features groundbreaking works by artists from Australia and countries across the Commonwealth. This exciting free exhibition is a collaboration between NGV and ACMI.

Don't miss the chance to hear visiting international and local exhibiting artists provide insight into their practice. The program offers two days of floor talks and presentations at NGV and ACMI.

Highlights include Artist Talks (ex de Medici, Yee I-Lann, Sally Smart, Ah Xian, Berni Searle, John Hughes, John Gillies and Patricia Piccinini). Plus, a chance to meet artists Yinka Shonibare and Isaac Julien after an introduction by Gerard Vaughan.
