The Slow Guide and NGVDecember will see the launch of a joint initiative between the NGV and The Slow Guide. The Slow Guide is a new and inspirational lifestyle guide dedicated to exploring Melbourne at a more leisurely gait. Its motto is ‘live more, fret less’ and the book celebrates all that’s most gratifying about life in Melbourne. The online initiative will encourage all Victorians to have a closer look at the NGV Collection through a sumptuously slow lens, to celebrate it as a place for discovery and reflection, a unique part of Melbourne and Victoria's character and as an wonderful place to spend an hour or two. Anyone can become a slow coach and write about their experience on the website. See for yourself at www.slowguides.com
