This is your last chance to rediscover some of Nolan’s most important and famous paintings alongside works that have had rare public exposure.
art after dark
Sidney Nolan will remain open until 9pm for the last three nights of the exhibition on Thursday 15, Friday 16 and Saturday 17 May. See art in a different light when NGV comes alive with performances, Introductory Talks, food and wine for art after dark.

The brutality of war is explored in a confronting new exhibition that features 51 etchings by Otto Dix. Having fought in the First World War, Dix sketched what he witnessed in the trenches, and the resulting prints offer a historical and personal document of war.
