Don’t miss your last chance to enter the glamorous world of Art Deco when the exhibition Art Deco 1910–1939 closes on Sunday 5 October. This beautiful exhibition is now remaining open until 10pm on Friday 3 October for art after dark.

Every Wednesday during Art Deco, the NGV comes alive with a variety of talks, live performances, music, and fine food and wine.

    Weekends, until Sun 5 Oct, and daily Mon 22 Sep – Fri 3 Oct, 10.30am–4.30pm
    Kids can become Art Deco artists when they join in the free art activities in the Deco Kids Space.

To celebrate Art Deco 1910–1939, the NGV is calling all Deco Detectives. Join other Deco enthusiasts from across the state in the hunt for Art Deco-influenced design. All you have to do is:

1. Find examples of Art Deco design or architecture in your area.
2. Photograph them and describe them in the downloadable Case File.
3. Add your new locations to the interactive map to share your discoveries

Locate examples of architecture (interior and exterior) in the style of Art Deco in your local area. Collect your information by completing the Case File. Share your findings by entering them on the map.
