NGV Members:
Annual Members' Meeting and Election 2005
Members are invited to attend the NGV Members Annual Members' Meeting on 6 December, 2005, at 6pm at NGV International, 180 St Kilda Road.
The election of two new members of the Committee will take place at this Meeting, for a term of two years. Only current financial members are eligible to vote.
Since 2003 the NGV Members Committee has been a Committee of the Council of Trustees of the National Gallery of Victoria. The NGV Members Committee's role is to guide the business and affairs of NGV Members and to provide the Council and NGV management with appropriate advice and membership feedback.
The Committee consists of nine members appointed by the Council of Trustees, as follows:
- Three members appointed by the Council at least two of whom shall be NGV Trustees;
- The Director, NGV ( ex officio );
- Head of Foundation, NGV ( ex officio ); and
- Four members elected from current financial NGV Members.
The Council appoints the Chair of the Committee. The Manager, NGV Members is Secretary to the Members Committee.
Current financial Members wishing to nominate for the two available positions may obtain a nomination form by contacting the Members Office on 8620 2233 or via email members@ngv.vic.gov.au
Nominees are required to complete the appropriate form and submit this with brief biographical details (maximum 50 words) to the NGV Members Office by Friday 25 November 2005. Please note that there will be no proxies.
