Go beyond your imagination this winter with Salvador Dalí: Liquid Desire. See more than 200 works across all media – paintings, drawing, watercolour, etchings, sculpture, fashion, jewellery, cinema and photography – in the first comprehensive retrospective to be staged in Australia.

    With a line up including some of Australia’s finest Latin and jazz musicians, the infectious grooves, fiery solos and rich vocal harmonies from Azucar invoke Dalí’s Spanish heritage. Join us for a swinging salsa lesson from 6.30pm and apply your new dance knowledge in the second set.

A fascinating behind-the-scenes look at what is involved in designing a blockbuster exhibition like Dalí, from designing the exhibition spaces for the placement of art works to selecting colour palettes and designing the exhibition catalogue. See the architectural model and the exhibition in miniature!

John Brack

The first John Brack retrospective to be held in more than twenty years, this exhibition surveys the artist’s complete oeuvre. Incorporating paintings and works on paper from all his major series, the exhibition also includes pictures such as The bar 1954 and Collins St., 5pm 1955, now regarded as some of the most iconic images of 20th century Australian art.
