Daisy Bullen was born on Anna Plains Station. She later moved to Wallal Station, where she grew up. She married her promised husband Harry Bullen (Nabiru) and then moved to Bidyadanga in the mid 1960s. Daisy now lives in Broome with her husband and children.
Daisy was one of the first of the Yulparija artists to experiment with acrylic on paper and then canvas, and says of her work: "I like 'im painting, he helps me remember my country, long way in the desert."
Her work was exhibited in the first Bidyadanga Artists group show Manjiliyajarra: An exhibition by the Yulparija and Mangala artists, Short Street Gallery, Broome, 2003.
