NGV Schools offers enhanced learning for students with a team of trained teachers presenting a wide range of programs linking the NGV Collection and exhibitions to the school curriculum.
The Victorian Essential Learning Standards are an integral part of the NGV Schools programs for students and teachers. The NGV's encyclopaedic collection complements Post Compulsory programs for VCAL, VET, VCE and IB studies while also providing diverse learning opportunities for young preschool children.
Teachers are encouraged to participate in Professional Learning Programs which explore strategies for enriching the school curriculum by using the NGV as a resource.
