Performed by the Partridge String Quartet from the Australian National Academy of Music (ANAM), Peter Sculthorpe’s Quamby is a musical response to the story of Quamby Bluff, a mountainous outcrop in Northern Tasmania and the setting for the genocide of an Aboriginal tribe by colonial government soldiers.
