PANEL DISCUSSION: KEEP THE FIRE BURNING
PRESENTED BY LADIES OF LEISURE

NGV International

Free entry

It’s one thing to have a passion project, but when you’re not getting paid and trying to juggle other commitments, how do you keep that passion alive?

Ladies of Leisure brings together a panel of Melbourne self-publishers to get real about the trials and tribulations of putting together a publication – from contributors dropping out, to the financial realities, to handling negative feedback.

KEEP THE FIRE BURNING will be a frank discussion about some of the challenges our panelists have faced, how they have overcome them and manage to keep the ‘fire’ alive in the face of adversity.

MODERATOR

Sally Tabart is a writer, producer, and the founding editor of Ladies of Leisure. She has worked across the film and editorial industries in Melbourne and New York, is perpetually on the hunt for the perfect pants, and passionate about nurturing the creative and personal development of women.
