Van Gogh’s works depict the sensory pleasures and deprivations particular to each season, from fields of ripe wheat shimmering under the hot sun in summer, to the flowering meadows and blossoming orchards in spring.
In this Members Art Class, experiment with colour, light and perspective to depict each season represented in a still life arrangement. Guided by accomplished artist Lewis Miller, develop your classical and contemporary drawing techniques over a glass of wine.
All materials are provided and no experience necessary.
Winner of the prestigious Archibald Prize in 1998, Lewis currently exhibits regularly at Australian Galleries in Melbourne, Sydney and at Heiser Gallery in Brisbane. Miller’s work is represented in private and public collections in Australia and overseas, including The National Gallery of Victoria.
