NGV International

A self-professed ‘drawing maniac’, Japanese artist Hokusai is best known for his iconic work, The Great Wave. With works borrowed from the Uikyo-e Museum in Japan together with works from the NGV collection, this exhibition showcases 129 prints by Hokusai in a rare opportunity to view iterations of The Great Wave side by side.
