The Members Summer Party brings together art by M. C. Escher and Julian Opie, design by Japanese studio nendo, and live music by local band The Meltdown and DJ Small FRY to keep you dancing all night long.

Members and their guests will have exclusive late-night access to Escher X nendo | Between Two Worlds and Julian Opie, while enjoying summer inspired canapés, Yering Station wines, gelato by Gelato Messina and a signature cocktail on arrival.


Tegan Higginbotham is an actress, writer and comedian best known for her work on projects including Whovians with Rove McManus, Have You Been Paying Attention?, Whose Line Is It Anyway?, Molly, and feature films Oddball and Holding The Man. Tegan has also established herself as a frank, funny and intelligent female voice amidst Melbourne’s sporting landscape co-hosting Sideliners on ABC and The Greatest on Fox Footy. She has taken part in the Melbourne International Comedy Festival for twelve consecutive years and been nominated for The Best Newcomer and the Golden Gibbo.

Vivan Vo aka Small FRY is an artist manager, music publicist and DJ, with a background in community radio. Small FRY and has performed for Liminal Mag, Emerging Writers Festival, Finders Keepers Market, Alice Ivy and Yeo as well as monthly residencies at Ferdydurke, The Toff in Town and The Carlton Club.


The Meltdown are a Melbourne band led by the soaring voice of Simon Burke. Bringing together a blend of Stax and Motown with a healthy dose of the Nashville song writing tradition, their songs move your heart and your feet as echoes of Memphis soul resonate.



Nicholas J. Johnson is a professional magician, author and educator who specialises in improving the understanding of deception, and helping people to identify scams, hoaxes and suspect science. For the past 20 years, Nicholas has worked to uncover the tricks behind the tricks. Witness extraordinary sleight of hand and baffling illusions, while learning the secrets behind the misdirection, perception and influence that make it all possible.
