One of the most famous architectural works of the 20th century had disappeared for more than 50 years. But its image still exists in the minds of many generations of architects, becoming one of their greatest influences. After only 8 months after opening, the German Pavilion for the Barcelona International Exhibition of 1929 was disassembled. In 1986, after years of perseverance, it was reconstructed exactly in the same place. The existence of the pavilion and its creators remains surrounded by myths and stories, statements and questions and this lovely work examines them in all their nuanced textures. This documentary starts with Ludwig Mies van der Rohe and Lilly Reich designing the mise-en-scène that would change the course of history.
