Dan Spielman has established a reputation as one of Australia’s leading theatre, film and television actors. Dan was most recently seen in the Network Ten series Sisters and was on stage at the Melbourne Theatre Company in Macbeth. His recent television credits include the ABC series The Code, for which he received an AACTA Award nomination for Best Lead Actor in a Television Drama, and the SBS crime drama Deep Water. He appeared in Miss Fisher Murder Mysteries, Offspring, Blue Heelers, and many more. He made his feature film debut in Paul Currie’s One Perfect Day for which he was nominated for an AFI Award for Best Actor and an IF Award for Best Actor.
Sophie Ross is an actor, devisor and dramaturg. As an actor, she has appeared in What Rhymes With Cars & Girls, The Waiting Room, and Cock for Melbourne Theatre Company; in The Real and Imagined History of the Elephant Man and Revolt. She Said. Revolt Again for Malthouse Theatre; in Disgraced, Before/After, Hamlet, Comedy of Errors, Leviathan, Romeo & Juliet, and Woman in Mind for Sydney Theatre Company; and in Narrative for the Royal Court, among others. She has also appeared in the feature films Closed for Winter, The Jammed, Sucker, and Criminal; the television series Hunters, Casualty and All Saints; and the BBC radio drama The Ravens.
